Happy New Year From Grand Lake!
And a look ahead to 2025...
Good Morning, and a Hap Hap Happy New Year to YOU!
Well then… it has been a few weeks. Did you miss me?
I do hope you had an excellent holiday season, we sure did.
But, it is a new year and time to look ahead to what is happening around the lake in the month and year to come.
This email is broken up into a couple of parts… first, what is happening over the next month or so that you need to know about, and second, a look ahead to what is sure to be an epic 2025 Grand Lake summer.
Also, make sure to scroll all the way through this email and visit the website and support those businesses that support the Grand Lake Living website and these emails. The support of those businesses is what makes these emails possible.

Anyhoo… Happy New Year, and here is what you need to know about things happening at Grand Lake!
This Month
Boat Shows - It is Boat Show season in the heartland, and below is info and links to the local shows. And, if you need a refresher, I’ve not updated this yet, but here is a link to the Grand Lake Boat Buyers Guide I published last year. Oh, and you might want to take a look at this list of the Best Boats of 2024.
The Oklahoma Boat Expo, which will feature the MOST Grand Lake Boat Dealers, is happening January 10-12 at the Cox Convention Center in Tulsa.
The OKC Boat Show is happening January 10th to 12 at the Fairgrounds.
January 27 to Feb 2 are the dates for the Tulsa Boat, Sport, and Travel Show at Expo Square.
The Grand Lake Boat and Sport Show, which will again be held at the Craig County Fairgrounds in Vinita, is set for March 7-9.
Mooney’s - Mooney’s is, or very soon will be, under new ownership! Robert has turned in his keys and is moving on. Well, not really, he’ll still be around. But, new owners are taking over (I’m not sure if I’m supposed to say who or not). No big changes are expected, which is good. Because, since purchasing and re-opening the legendary Grand Lake spot in 2016, it has been nothing but good things from Robert and his staff. Thank YOU, Robert, for investing your time and money into this Grand Lake landmark! We’ll see you around the lake and CONGRATULATIONS!
Grove Concert Series - Experience two nights of music and fun at the Winter Concert Series in Grove, OK! On January 18th, enjoy the timeless hits of The Golden Sounds of The Platters, followed by a nostalgic evening on January 25th with the original cast members of Hee Haw’s Kornfield Friends, including Rex Allen Jr., Jana Jae, and more. Doors open at 6 PM, with shows starting at 7 PM. Tickets are $25 per show, or get a two-show saver pass for $40. VIP and special seating options are also available. Don’t miss these great shows—grab your tickets today at cityofgroveok.gov or cur8.com!
Library Happenings - There is always something happening at the Grove Public Library. Check out the January Calendar of Events HERE.
