This Week at Grand Lake - May 6, 2024
Monday morning at the lake...
Good Morning!
Well then, so much for a rainy Saturday - it turned out to be a perfect Friday night and Saturday for all of the fun happening around the lake.
Art shows, poker runs, food trucks, and so much more - all going off without a hitch. Sweet!
But, around here, we are always looking forward, which means it is a new week leading up to Mother’s Day weekend at Grand Lake.
So, forward we go, but first, a quick poll so you can let me know how often you want to hear from me over the summer months:
Which emails do you want to receive? |
Alright, let’s get to it - here is what you need to know for this week at Grand Lake:
Today’s Sponsor:
The Golf Cart Guyz are quickly establishing themselves as the go-to experts for all things golf carts around Grand Lake. With new (MadjaX) and used golf cart sales, plus service and customization options, they can handle whatever you need. Plus, they have a fleet of six rental carts, and if you are renting on Monkey Island, they will even deliver to you for free. Check out their updated website to find out more about what The Golf Cart Guys can do for you:
Lake Level - As of 8 am, the official lake level is 746.7’ with full generation and I think just one gate is open. There could be some pretty good rains again overnight in the watershed, but then it should be settling down a little bit. You can always check lake levels yourself HERE. Water temps are in the mid-60s, and the lake is pretty dirty right now.
