This Week at Grand Lake - May 13, 2024

Good Stormy Monday Morning!

I think all that clean livin’ is paying off, because we had a BEE YOU TEE FULL weekend, and are now following that up with a stormy Monday morning.

Feels like it is often the other way around, with a poopy weather weekend followed by beautiful weather during the week - so, yea, we’ll take it!

Speaking of weather and weekends… early look says upper 80s next weekend. You ready for summer?

Also, I appreciate all the responses in last week’s poll, and if you replied and said you’d like to only receive the Friday emails (well over 90% of you said you want to receive both - awesome!), I don’t have that set up, yet.

Sorry about that, so you are getting today’s email. But I’ll get it dialed in.

Lake Level - As of 8 am, the official lake level is 745.4’ with full generation and 1 gate open. The lake level is moving back down to near normal and water temps are in the mid to upper 60s.

• Wednesday Cajun Crab Boil at Blind Swine Duck Creek - 5 pm

• Singo at Pickles in Langley is on Wednesday at 6 pm

• Grove Area Chamber Hosts a Ribbon Cutting at Grand Lake Barre, 414 E. 3rd Street, Thursday at 10 am.

• The South Grand Lake Chamber will host a Ribbon Cutting at Vail’s Marine Service and Scissortail Marina on Thursday at 5 pm.

• Grove Chamber Business After Hours happens Thursday at 5 pm at ART Medical Aesthetics, 1130 S. Main St. Please RSVP to the Chamber.

• Shrimp Boil and Karaoke on the Doc’s Patio at Shangri-La - Thursday at 5 pm

• Ribbon Cutting for Trail Blazers Development will be at the Grove Chamber Office Friday morning at 10 am.

• Tickets are required for this Saturday’s Garden Party fundraiser at Lendonwood Gardens. Get all the info HERE.

• There is a Murder Mystery Dinner at Shangri-La on Saturday, but you need tickets. Details HERE.
