Good Morning!
Wow, what a beautiful weekend that was. Now, it’s on to Memorial Day!
But first, we’ve got a work week to navigate around here.
And I don’t have much to say this morning, so let’s just get right to it. Sound good?

Lake Level - As of 7 am, the official lake level is 745.2’ with full generation and no gates open. Water temps are mostly in the upper 60s.
Cleora - In case you missed it in Friday’s email, there is a movement to incorporate the Town of Cleora and they have posted their Notice to Incorporate. These notices are detailed and will be available for 30 days at the following locations: Kahoots Country Store, Drunken Rooster Bar and Grill, and Java Don’s Gourmet Coffee. Take time and go review them. They include interesting Cleora history and town boundaries. I’m not sure if there is any kind of website, but HERE is a link to the Facebook page for the “Town of Cleora”.
50/50 - There is a big party at Honey Creek Landing Marina on Saturday with live music and fireworks, but they are also doing a 50/50 Raffle with all proceeds going to the local Disabled American Veterans. And I’m telling you that because the event isn’t until Saturday, but I do believe you can stop by the ship store and buy your raffle tickets ($10 each) at any time leading up to the event. At least, I think I saw that somewhere. So, do that.

Hero’s Deli is now open in Langley! Not sure of the hours at this point, but I do know they will at least be open for lunch Monday through Friday.

Singo at Pickles in Langley is on Wednesday at 6 pm
The South Grand Lake Chamber’s Monthly Membership Meeting is Thursday at 11:30 at the GRDA building in Langley. Let them know you are coming!
Taco Thursdays happen at The Quarterdeck from 11 am to 8 pm.
Shrimp Boil and Karaoke on the Doc’s Patio at Shangri-La - Thursday at 5 pm
Magen Faulconer plays at Mooney’s on Thursday evening at 6:30.
Friday morning is the Grand Opening celebration of the Legacy of Liberty WW II Memorial Park at Shangri-La at 10 am. It’s located across from the Monkey Island Airport.
