Good Morning!
Getting a late start this morning as the website is having some issues.
It’s still live on the web, and you can still find quick and easy access to all of the great businesses that support this newsletter and website.
But, it’s not letting me add or edit anything.
So, I’ve got an unscheduled Monday project to handle. Which means we should get right to it.

Lake Level - As of 7 am, the lake level is 744.1’ with minimal intermittent generation. Water temps are in the mid-70s all over. Lake conditions remain perfect!
Newcomers - The monthly meeting of the Grand Lake Newcomer’s Club is Tuesday at 10 am at Grove Christian Center at the corner of E 3rd and Shundi. This month’s speaker is Judi Barber from the Grove Creative Alliance. Come meet new friends, and then join the group for lunch after the meeting at Honey Creek BBQ.
Toes in the Grand - It is Toes in the Grand week at Wolf Creek Park in Grove, with the carnival starting on Thursday night at 5 pm. Then on Friday and Saturday, there will be all sorts of things, besides the carnival, happening, including hydroplane boat races, vendors, 2 Hip Chicks Road Show, food trucks, a beer garden, live music, and a whole lot more. It’s a summer kickoff party with fun for everyone. More info and the full schedule can be found HERE.
Visions Off-Road - Many of you lake folks might not even be aware of the massive Mid-America Outdoors playground just outside of Jay. I say playground because that’s exactly what it is for you off-road fans. Anyway, starting today (Monday!) is Visions Off-Road, which they are billing as 6 days of non-stop racing action. And, this will also be the debut of Travis Pastrana’s custom-designed dream track. Get all the details and schedule of events HERE.
After Hours - I’m not sure if you need to be a Grove Chamber member or not to attend these, but there is a Business After Hours on Thursday at 5 pm at BancFirst in Grove. You might go ahead and RSVP to the Chamber if you plan on attending.
Fireworks Season - The tents are popping up and it’s almost Fireworks season at Grand Lake. Duck Creek and Monkey Island would both certainly appreciate your donations, but the Grand Lake Fireworks folks in Disney have specifically asked if I can help get out the word that they are actively accepting donations. I guess that these years where the 4th is in the middle of the week are a little more challenging to raise funds. Anyway, you can donate on their website: https://grandlakefireworks.com/.
Grove Public Library always has a busy week. This week’s activities include STEM Lab and a Bubble Stage Show. Check out their FB page HERE for ongoing events and details.
