Good Morning!
Well, I sure hope you didn’t have any significant damage from the storm that blew through Saturday night.
No doubt, it was a humdinger.
At World Headquarters near Ketchum, we were in the fraidy hole. Just sayin’.
The good news is I haven’t heard of any injuries around here. So that’s the perfect thing.
As you go about hiring contractors and tree guys to help you clean up and fix any damage, please make sure they are legit, local, and insured. You’ll be glad you did.

Different topic, but quick clarification… it was pointed out that I had the Duck Creek Fireworks on the 3rd and 4th on the Events page of the website.
The Duck Creek Fireworks are always on the 4th, so I just wanted to make that clear.
In early releases and videos, they said there was going to be an airshow on the 3rd AND 4th, but here we are 2 weeks out and I haven’t heard anything more on that.
Anyway, so that’s that. and here is what you need to know for this week at Grand Lake!

Lake Level - As of 7 am, the lake level is 744.2’ with minimal intermittent generation. Water temps have crept up into the low-80s. Lake got stirred up pretty good from that storm, so be on the lookout for debris.
Food Trucks!- Food Truck Tuesday returns to the City Park in Langley on Tuesday, from 5 to 8 pm. It will be a carnival theme with games, face painting, sno cones, cotton candy, a dunk tank, music by DJ Outlaw BeBlop, and several popular area food trucks on hand. Don't miss the fun!
Chamber Meeting - The South Grand Chamber’s monthly membership meeting is Thursday at 11:30 at the GRDA Ecosystems and Education Center in Langley. As always, RSVPs are requested. You can call the Chamber at (918)782-3214.
Grand Jam - It’s time again for the now 6th annual Grand Jam Music Fest at Grand Meridian RV Resort near Duck Creek. With great live music Thursday (Jake Marlin & The Reckless) and Friday nights and all day Saturday, this is one big party. Lots of vendors, food trucks, and plenty of refreshments will be available. Safe Boating - What better way to get ready for the busy 4th holiday than with a Safe Boating class for the kids, or you. The FREE GRDA Kyle Williams Safe Boating Classes continue on Saturday, June 24th, at the GRDA Ecosystems and Education Building in Langley from 8 to 5. This class is great for new boaters, young boaters, and those needing a refresher. Register HERE.
Growing In Grove - There was some low-key big news out of Grove this weekend, where the city has announced there will soon be a new 200-room boutique hotel/resort located near Wolf Creek Park. This also jives with the proposed new Grove Event Center planned in the same area. AND, the city also announced the purchase of 46 undeveloped acres near Har-Ber Road and Broadway for a park that will include mountain bike and hiking trails. AWESOME!
