Well then… we had ourselves a time. How about you?
Great fireworks, awesome time spent with family and friends, and memories to last a lifetime - that’s what July 4th at Grand Lake is all about, and we pulled it off yet again.
OK, so, I’m making an executive decision around here.
Frankly, every Monday, it is a stretch for me to find things to include in these newsletters.
So, I’m going back to just a once-a-week email, in your inbox by 10 or so each Thursday morning.
This week there will still be 2 emails, but starting next week, we are going back to just one.
And, based on polls and feedback I’ve had in the past, that will be just fine for most of you.
I’ll work to make sure the website stays updated so that every Thursday you will still be able to get and easily find the information that you want to help you make the most of your Grand Lake Livin’.

Lake Level - As of 9 am, the lake level is 744.2 with little to no generation. Lake temps are in the 80s and conditions are perfect.
Nutrition & Ice Cream - There are a couple of new businesses in The Shops at Grand Meridian in Cleora. Grand Life Nutrition is your spot for Herbalife supplemental and energized teas, light snacks, and protein shakes. The new Grand Creamery serves hand-scooped, homemade Artisan Bliss ice cream, with over 60 rotating flavors.
Beau’s - I’ve seen a Facebook post that Beau’s Market and Delicatessen will open on Thursday of this week in the Grand Towne Center North of Langley.
Glorious - “GLORIOUS! The True Story of Florence Foster Jenkins, the Worst Singer in the World” is coming to Grove Community Playmakers at 121 W 3rd St in Grove. Opens: July 21; Runs Sundays through Aug 4 th at 2:00 pm; Thursdays, Fridays, and one Saturday, through Aug 3rd at 7:30 pm. Word on the street is that Aquapalooza, scheduled for Saturday, July 20th, isn’t happening this year.
There is a Splash Bash in Ketchum Cove planned for July 20th.
Woodstock on the Water is set for August 10th.
Food Truck Friday and the Wolf Creek Drag Boat Nationals happen this weekend in Grove.
Wednesday is Cajun Crab Boil at Blind Swine Duck Creek - 5 pm
Singo at Pickles in Langley is on Wednesday at 6 pm
Cocktails and Karaoke at The Blind Swine - Wednesdays at 9 pm
Thursday is the Shrimp Boil and Karaoke on the Doc’s patio at 6 pm
Live music on the deck at Mooney’s Thursday at 6:30.
Thursdays are now Crab Legs and Karaoke with DJ Kennedy Rockstar Karaoke at the reopened Island Bar and Grill at The Landings on Monkey Island.
DJ Night is Thursday at Blind Swine Monkey Island.
Thursday is Karaoke night at Drunken Rooster.
