This Weekend at Grand Lake - Boat Show Season
In the market for a new boat?
Good Morning!
Well then, on to January, which means a couple of things - some snowflakes start flying around, and it’s boat show season.
You can’t have one without the other, amiright? More on this weekend’s boat shows is below.
So the next couple of months are the most chill months around the lake (Get it!? Because it’s cold!!), but you’ll still find some live music on the weekends and plenty of local things happening.
Speaking of local things happening - man, it feels like there are a lot of businesses getting ready to open up, at least towards the south end.
There are the new Shops at Grand Meridian at the back of Duck Creek that will have their first tenants opening around Feb 1, and the new Grand Towne Center near Langley has new tenants coming soon as well.
I’m hearing about things like a new bar and grill in Cleora, a new deli and market in Langley, a new sandwich shop in Langley, new boutiques, and more.
Feels like a lot, but, I’m sure all of these folks have done their market research. Right?
Anyhoo, on with things! Here is what you need to know for This Weekend at Grand Lake:

Oklahoma Boat Expo - The majority of your Grand Lake boat dealers, and many great businesses that support Grand Lake Living, will be at the Oklahoma Boat Expo at the Cox Convention Center in Downtown Tulsa this weekend. NWA Boat Show - The Northwest Arkansas Boat and Outdoor Expo runs from this afternoon through Sunday at the Rogers Convention Center. Only one local Grand Lake dealer will be there, that I know of, but I also know I’ve got a lot of great readers in Northwest Arkansas, so go and get a taste of summer this weekend.
