This Weekend at Grand Lake - Easter Weekend
Warmest weekend of the year ahead...
Good Morning!
Well then — they came, they fished, and they left. By all accounts, Grove and Grand Lake showed out really well for all of the Bassmasters participants and fans last weekend.
I went to the launch Saturday morning and saw license plates from Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, and Nebraska - not to mention the immediate surrounding states.
Very cool when an international event like that can bring the entire focus of its fans on our little corner of Oklahoma.
Anyway, that was then and this is now.
But before we get to Easter Weekend at Grand Lake, I’ve got a quick question for you…
If I was to put together some kind of Grand Lake Living Fan Club at an investment of, I don’t know, $10/month or $100/year, is that something you’d be interested in?
I’m thinking for that investment you’d receive a ‘Fan Club Only’ email once a month, probably on or around the 1st of each month, with some special offers or discounts from area or lake-related businesses with exclusive discounts just for you that would more than recoup the investment in the club.
What do you think?
By responding, there is no commitment at all, and the votes are anonymous, so I wouldn’t know who voted which way at all, but this lets me know if this is an idea worth pursuing.
Would you be interested in some kind of fan club as described above? |

This year, workday tasks will include repairing fences, trimming grasses, sowing seeds, planting perennials, pruning shrubs, spreading mulch, painting, potting seedlings, cleaning benches, and other jobs. Supplies for the various projects will be available, although volunteers should bring their own gloves and wear comfortable work clothes. The workday is usually completed by about 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided by Lendonwood board members.
