Good Morning!
So, just like that, we blink, and we are now just a couple of weekends away from the legendary Independence Day holiday season at Grand Lake.
But, there are things to do before that, like celebrating dads, putting the Toes in the Grand, jamming Grand style, and more.
And, right on schedule, the weather guys and gals are saying the heat index will start pushing 100 in the middle of next week.
If the super hot heat isn’t your bag, get out and enjoy the lake this weekend, because the heat is coming.
And to all of you dads out there - Happy Father’s Day!

Lake Level - As of 7 am, the lake level is 744’, with limited generation. Lake temps are mostly in the mid-70s, maybe a little warmer. Enjoy!
Toes in the Grand - The carnival started last night, but things REALLY get rolling today at the Toes in the Grand Festival at Wolf Creek Park in Grove. Things like hydroplane boat races, lots of vendors, including 2 Hip Chicks Road Show, food trucks, a beer garden, lots of live music, and a whole lot more. It’s a summer kickoff party with fun for everyone. Go HERE for a full schedule of events and more details.
Visions Off-Road - It’s not really my bag, but the Visions Off-Road event happening at Mid-America Outdoors in Jay this weekend is apparently a pretty big deal. Lots of off-road racing, including the debut of a famous guy’s dream off-road track. Get all the details HERE.
Saturday Market in Langley - The Saturday Morning Market in Langley, which for years has been at The Artichoke, is now located on the lot immediately to the north of Reasor’s. Starting at 9 am and now with more parking and visibility, this is a great location. All of the same great vendors (and More!) will be on hand to bring you the goods. New Disney Farmer’s Market - There is a new farmer’s market in town, specifically the town of Disney. It will happen on the 3rd Saturday of the month through growing season, and the first one is this Saturday. You’ll find local prime beef, homemade pies, fresh eggs, produce, and probably a few surprises. Happening from 9 to 2 at Disney Town Hall.
Saturday Morning Yoga - Get your zen on with a gentle yoga session happening every Saturday at 10 am in the Black Oak Barn at Thousand Oaks Resort in Langley. It is taught by professional yoga instructor Missy Martin and is suitable for any skill level and even for first-timers. This class is FREE for resort guests AND locals. This is an 18+ class and the property is 18+.
Grove Farmer’s Market - The Grove Farmer’s Market happens every Saturday morning from 9 am to 2 pm on the community center lawn in Downtown Grove.
