Good Morning!
Alright… heat index pushing triple digits - that’s what I’m talking about! NOW it feels like summer.
Luckily it hasn’t been too bad this week as a lot of us dealt with a little storm cleanup, but now it’s time to focus on the new weekend at hand.
Lots of music around the lake this weekend, plus several other things as we prime ourselves up for the extravaganza that is known as July 4th at Grand Lake.
I’ve got to get out the door this morning, so, let’s get to it.

Lake Level - As of 7 am, the lake level is 744’, with no generation. Lake temps are getting into the 80s. Enjoy!
Grand Jam Music Fest - The 6th annual Grand Jam Music Fest got started last night and continues tonight and all day Saturday at Grand Meridian RV and Tiny Home Resort near the back of Duck Creek. Lots of great live music, vendors, food trucks, and good times to be had. Oh, and it’s FREE! Bull Riding - Amped Up Pro Bull Riding Tour will be at American Legion Arena in Vinita tonight and Saturday night at 7:30 pm. Bull riding… ALWAYS a great time!
Clean-Up Day - Our friends at Har-Ber Village were hit hard by last weekend’s storm and are trying to clean up and re-open the Hiking Trails that are so popular with the public. There is a volunteer workday on Saturday from 7-11 am, although any amount of time would be appreciated. Any and all help is welcome… just bring those saws, rakes, and strong backs and help them get cleaned up and reopened!
Garage & Bake Sale - This Friday and Saturday, June 23rd and 24th, the Brush and Palette Art Gallery will be having a garage and bake sale! Stop by the gallery at 18 W. 4th St. to see what treasures can be found between 8 am and 4 pm each day.
Safe Boating Class - With the 4th on the horizon, this seems like the perfect time for another Free GRDA Kyle Williams Safe Boating Class. It happens Saturday at the GRDA Building in Langley from 8 to 5. New boaters, young boaters, and boaters that need a refresher are all encouraged to attend. Register HERE.
Saturday Market in Langley - The Saturday Morning Market in Langley, which for years has been at The Artichoke, is now located on the lot immediately to the north of Reasor’s. Starting at 9 am and now with more parking and visibility, this is a great location. All of the same great vendors (and More!) will be on hand to bring you the goods. Saturday Morning Yoga - Get your zen on with a gentle yoga session happening every Saturday at 10 am in the Black Oak Barn at Thousand Oaks Resort in Langley. It is taught by professional yoga instructor Missy Martin and is suitable for any skill level and even for first-timers. This class is FREE (donations encouraged) for resort guests AND locals. This is an 18+ class and the property is 18+.
Grove Farmer’s Market - The Grove Farmer’s Market happens every Saturday morning from 9 am to 2 pm on the community center lawn in Downtown Grove.
