Good Morning!
Well then. Getting a late start this morning.
And, I’ve got some cousins here that want to give it another try at the ol Grand Lake waterskiing.
There is no wake surfing here, boys and girls. We are old school.
So, I’ve got to go. Somebody has to drive the boat!

Lake Level - As of 8 am, the lake level is 743.5’, with little to no generation and the lake temps are summertime hot.
Family Bash - It is an end-of-summer family bash at The Anchor this weekend. There is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, a cornhole tournament, and a whiffle ball tournament. It’s all going down starting tonight (Friday!), at The Anchor on Monkey Island.
Groovy on Grand - The annual Woodstock on the Water is happening this weekend with an overnight raft-out tonight in Lawhead Hollow (Leon Russel Cove), and then an all day party tomorrow with the Barrett Lewis Band playing from 1 until 5. I’ve got to tell you, I’m a little confused about the overnight raftout. Arrowhead Yacht Club will have a barge there with food tonight (bring a side dish) and breakfast burritos in the morning, but I’m not sure if that is a “members only” deal or not. Regardless, anybody and everybody can come raft out. See you there.
Partay at Stony Point - EVERYONE is invited to STONY POINT’S Lake Day PARTY Raft Out & Open House on Saturday, Aug 12th. COME AND GO starting at 11 am. Enjoy this invitation to come see what Stony Point has to offer for your next lake gathering. They host everything from family reunions, corporate retreats, and weddings to quite couple getaways. There will be food at 7 pm. Live music at 8. And Fireworks at dark. The best part… NO DRUNKEN CHAOS APPRECIATED. Bring your coolers with your favorite drinks, lawn chairs, water floats and let’s have a GRAND time! You will find Stony Point across from The Landings Marina and the airport on Monkey Island. More Fireworks - At the South end, keep your eye to the sky at dark on Saturday night for a little tribute fireworks show in honor of Judy Barger, the founder and visionary behind the Grand Lake Fireworks show in Disney who passed away last weekend.
Jay Cruise Night - Apparently, Jay, Oklahoma has one of the best “Cruise Nights” you will find. Anywhere. and it happens this Saturday night. Come see the parade of amazing wheels and while you're there, enjoy live music from 7 - 9 p.m. KGVE 99.3FM will be there too! Want to register your vehicle? It's not too late - you can do it at the show! Brought to you by Jay Chamber of Commerce.
Saturday Morning Yoga - A free practice (well, donations are encouraged) takes place at 10 am every Saturday morning at The Black Oak Barn at Thousand Oaks Resort near Langley. Keep to the right and follow the signs to the barn. Everyone is welcome!
Saturday Market in Langley - The Saturday Morning Market in Langley, located on the lot immediately to the north of Reasors, starts at 9 am. All of the goodies!
Grove Farmer’s Market - The Grove Farmer’s Market now has shade (!) and happens every Saturday morning from 9 am to 2 pm on the community center lawn in Downtown Grove.
