This Weekend at Grand Lake - August 15, 2024

Good Morning!

The kids are back in school, but the summertime rolls on at Grand Lake.

It is still hot, the lake is warm, and it is a great time to be on the water.

But if you are not on the water, there is still plenty happening all over the lake - especially with all of the new places at the south end.

If you are hungry, there is the new Ketchum Eats Food Park, which includes Billy’s Burger Barn and More (Wed through Sun) and Bradford’s BBQ (Fri - Sun).

Beau’s Delicatessen and Market and Hero’s Subs are both GREAT additions to Langley.

If you are in the mood to buy stuff, check out All Seasons Patio in Langley and, as of this morning, the new Lakeland Trading Company, which brings a vibrant antique and gift shop to Downtown Langley.

Of course, the Shops at Grand Meridian have brought a new destination to the Cleora area.

And, Grove continues to rock on as the commercial hub of the Grand Lake empire with an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, and lake-focused services for every Grand Laker.

So… there you go. That’s this morning’s Lakewide Chamber of Commerce speech, lol.

Let’s get to what you are really here for, and that is what is happening this weekend around Grand Lake!

Lake Level - As of 8 am, the lake level is 743.1 with no generation and no gates open. The lake continues to be summertime warm with a stable elevation.

Chamber After Hours - For you Grove Chamber members (or want-to-be-members) there is a Grove Chamber Business After Hours today (Thursday) at 5 pm at White Buffalo Lodge. You should let the folks at the Chamber office know if you plan to attend.

Benefit at Sharky’s - There is a benefit fundraiser on Saturday from 4 pm to 7 pm for Lori Mosler, who is the Ship Store Manager at Arrowhead and also the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Marinas Association, at Sharky’s at Hammerhead Marina. Lori is battling some health issues, and her lake friends want to help - and you are invited! There will be a silent auction plus a raffle and more, all in support of Lori.

Yoga on the Island - LiveBliss is excited to announce the opening of its new studio at The Layk Schoolhouse on Monkey Island, offering yoga sessions throughout the week. For the most current schedule, visit the website at livebliss.org.
