Good Morning,

Well then… it feels like it is a pretty good time to get back to a weekly rhythm with these emails, don’t you think?

The days are longer and warmer, early spring flowers are doing their thing, and, before you know it, it will be the time for another Grand Lake summer.

But Spring is pretty busy around here, so let’s enjoy the right now.

I’ll be experimenting for the next few weeks as I get back in the flow with different sections of these emails, but it will remain the same ol’ reliable info you’ve come to expect.

But do look for the new “Special Offers” section that will include offers from supporters of this newsletter - and Grand Lake.

I don’t have anything poetic to wax on about, but I would say that it would NOT be a good idea to burn today (Thursday) ahead of those expected 60 mph wind gusts tomorrow.

Mardi Gras in March - Join the South Grand Lake Foundation for Mardi Gras in March tonight (Thursday!) at 6 PM at the GRDA Education Center in Langley. This festive evening supports the Ketchum Warriors Backpack Program, which helps provide food for local children in need. Enjoy authentic Cajun food, king cake, wine and beer, silent auctions, and plenty of Mardi Gras fun—all for a great cause! Admission is $65 at the door (cash or check only). Boat-up access is available via the GRDA Courtesy Docks. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and give back!

Home & Garden - Don’t miss the 27th Annual Home and Garden Show in Grove this weekend at 102 Lannell Drive! The show opens at 3 pm on Friday, and then 10 am on Saturday and 11 am on Sunday. Bootleggers - Step back in time at the South Grand Lake Chamber’s 2025 Bootlegger’s Ball Saturday from 6–9 p.m. at Shangri-La Resort.
