Good Morning!

Another gorgeous Spring morning out there, so whether it is for work or play… get outside!

I don’t know if somebody shared this somewhere or what, but there has been a flurry of new subscribers the past few days… so, welcome, and I hope this newsletter helps you make the most of your Grand Lake Livin’!

So, it feels like about half the state is headed to Stillwater this weekend for the Boys From Oklahoma shindig, but I know that’s not true.

Because we’ve got things happening right here, and with a beautiful weekend ahead, the lake is sure to be getting springtime busy itself.

And it sure feels like the fish (crappie!) should be biting, but I haven’t found them yet.

Anyhoo, I’ve spent my time this morning getting a bunch of upcoming events added to the Events page on the Grand Lake Living website. Check out all of that info HERE.

It’s not everything on the horizon, but it should help you plan out the next few months if you are looking for things to do at the lake.

Grand Lake Networking Night - Local business owners and neighbors, this one’s for you! Join in tonight (Thursday!) 6 PM at The Anchor at Shangri-La for a super casual networking event with food, drinks, games, and great conversation. Hot Food & Hot Wheels - Don’t miss the first Food Truck Friday of 2025—happening Friday from 5–9 PM at the Grove Community Center! Enjoy mouthwatering eats, live music from the Eddie Valen Band, and a cool lineup of classic cars cruising in from the south side of Grove. Free fun for the whole family! Q’uen at the Lake! - It is finally time for the Grand Lake Rib Contest at Q’uen at the Lake in Ketchum at the HS baseball stadium parking lot this Saturday. Set-up starts at 7 am and awards will be presented at 4:30. besides the great ribs, there will be food trucks, vendors, games for the kids, and a good time had by all! Get all the details HERE.

Grand Lake Birders - Join the group this Saturday from 10:30–11:30 AM at the Grove Library for the monthly meeting. This month’s guest speaker is Dustin Browning, Biologist with the Grand River Dam Authority, who will share insights on watershed management, water quality, and species conservation. All are welcome! Parking Lot Party - Join the fun at Ketchum Eats Food Park this Saturday for a full afternoon of BBQ, live music, food trucks, comedy, and family fun!
