This Weekend at Grand Lake - April 3, 2025

Good Morning,

Well then… it is 7 am here as I’m writing this in Ketchum, ‘Merica.

And it just started raining. And word on the street is it might not stop until late Saturday or Sunday.

So there’s that.

But, that’s alright. It is April at Grand Lake, and these April showers bring us the best May flowers, right?

It is not a jam packed weekend around here, but there are a few things for you to know for this weekend, and beyond, at Grand Lake!

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Spring Open House - Friday and Saturday is the annual Grove Merchants Spring Open House. Lots of businesses all over Grove will have great deals AND prizes. Don’t let the threat of a little rain stop you from getting some great deals.

First Friday Wine Share - Friday at 6 pm is this month’s First Friday Wine Share in Grove at The Quail Ridge Golf Course Clubhouse. Just bring a bottle (of whatever) to share, a snack & a glass. The Quail Ridge Clubhouse is a beautiful venue and big enough for everyone - come join the fun!

Indoor Farmer’s Market - There is another Indoor Farmer’s Market this Saturday from 9 to 2 at White Buffalo Lodge near Grove. HERE is their FB page for info. Lots of great local vendors selling so many things. The rain won’t stop this!

Celtic Day at Har-Ber Village - Saturday is the annual Celtic Day at Har-Ber Village in Grove. HERE are the details, but I would encourage you to check either on FB or call Har-Ber Village before heading that way to make sure it hasn’t been rained out…

Blind Swine News - So… a couple of things…

• Blind Swine Duck Creek is supposed to open this weekend, but in the past they have been a little weather dependent. And, given the high chance of rain and temps in the 50s, I’d be skeptical if they will open. But, you can always check for yourself by following them on their FB page.

• And on Monkey Island… the Blind Swine is no more! I guess the property has been sold (maybe just leased), but new owners will be opening the South 125 Bar & Grill here very soon. (Heard a rumor they are shooting for the first of May) Follow them on the new South 125 FB page to stay up to date. And you can still find Bailey and his great food on Duck Creek this summer and at Speedy’s Chophouse in Grove.
