This Weekend at Grand Lake - August 14, 2025

Gooood Morning!

Well then… I hope you didn’t think that just because school is starting back up that things were going to cool down.

Oh no… we might be looking at the hottest weekend of the year.

And with the ‘organized activities’ winding down for a few weeks on the lake, that makes it the PERFECT time to get on the lake and do your own thing.

Catch some crappie, catch an afternoon nap, catch some early morning turns, catch a sunset → whatever floats your Grand Lake boat, now is the perfect time of year.

But that also means it is time to start thinking about Fall at the lake, so if you don’t already have your own place here at the lake, you should start checking out some of Grand Lake’s best vacation rentals for yourself or your people that will be coming.

Because, as well know, Fall at Grand Lake is legit.

Anyway, that is then, and don’t forget about the right now.

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Lake Level - As of 9 am, the lake level is 743.4’ with no gates open and minimal ongoing generation. Lake temps are in the 80s. Summertime Perfect! You can always check the lake level yourself HERE.

Saturday Markets - So many veggies and treats to be had at the Saturday farmer’s markets. 9 am is the start time for both the Grove Farmer’s Market on the Community Center Lawn and the Saturday Morning Market in Langley next to Reasor’s.

Grove Cruise Night - Join Grove’s Cruisin’ Main this Saturday at the Community Center – 104 W 3rd St. from 7–9 PM for an evening of cool cars, good vibes, and community fun!

Grand River Dam Paddle - The GRDP is back for its 3rd year on the Grand River below the dam. It doesn’t happen until the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30th), but now is the time to get signed up today for this awesome Grand Lake event HERE.

Library - August means the kids go back to school, but things don’t slow down at the library. Check out the calendar at the always busy Grove Public Library HERE.
