Gooood Morning!

Have you felt that the last couple of mornings?

It is really subtle, but… there is just a hint… of a possibility, of a cool down.

Which means beautiful fall weather at Grand Lake is just ahead.

I’ve added a handful of upcoming events around the lake this fall to the Events page this morning, and there will be plenty more to add as we move forward.

But in the meantime, let’s just enjoy this gorgeous pre-holiday and pre-football season weekend.

(Although the Jayhawks and Wildcats do get rolling this weekend… will I see any of you in the new Booth?)

Let’s get to it… here is what you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Lake Level - As of 9 am, the lake level is 743.1’ with no gates open and minimal ongoing generation. Lake temps are in the 80s. Continues to be Summertime Perfect! You can always check the lake level yourself HERE.

Saturday Markets - So many veggies and treats to be had at the Saturday farmer’s markets. 9 am is the start time for both the Grove Farmer’s Market on the Community Center Lawn and the Saturday Morning Market in Langley next to Reasor’s.

Battle of the Jeeps - For you off-roadin’ jeepers, there is a Battle of the Jeeps event happening Saturday below the dam. Registration is at Noon at the trailer parking area below the dam. For details, check out the Facebook Event page HERE.

Rodeo in Grove - The Grove Pro Rodeo kicks up the dust this weekend with Friday and Saturday night rodeos at 7 pm at Crosswired Cowboy Church, which is located east of town at 28565 S. 670 Rd. Don’t miss it!

Library - August means the kids go back to school, but things don’t slow down at the library. Check out the calendar at the always busy Grove Public Library HERE.
