This Weekend at Grand Lake - July 24, 2025

Gooood Morning!

I’m not exactly sure where the time has gone, other than away, but if you blinked you might not realize we are already rolling up into the last weekend of July.

That means school, school stuff, and other things to do besides enjoy the lake for those of you with littles in your life.

So, my advice to you is this: If you aren’t already at the lake, go ahead and get here. Now.

The water is perfect!

But, since it is the last weekend of July, this seems like a great time to remind you that Fall at Grand Lake is fantastic.

And if you or someone you know is thinking about a Grand Lake getaway this Fall, make sure to check out the Vacation Rentals page on the website to find that perfect getaway spot.

But that is then, and this is now, and here is what you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Lake Level - As of 9 am, the lake level is 744.5’ with NO gates open but ongoing generation. Lake temps are in the upper 70s to low 80s. Summertime Perfect! You can always check the lake level yourself HERE.

Cigarette Freedom Run - Join in on Saturday for the ultimate FREE Cigarette-only event on Grand Lake — with a morning run, afternoon raft-up, and lunch on the water at Fox Hollow. Meet at the Cigarette Midwest Dock in Fox Hollow by around 11AM and get ready to make waves. It’s a free run, but registration is encouraged and get more details HERE.

Marina Del Rey Auction - I told you about this last week, but the new and beautiful Marina Del Rey Resort will be auctioned next weekend (along with a commercial building and lot in Ketchum), but there are Open House Inspections at each property this Saturday ahead of the auction on August 2nd. More details on the properties can be found HERE.

Lawn-A-Thon - The Anchor Lawn at Shangri-La is the place to take the kids Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm for a fun-filled day of inflatable water-park style fun. A wrist band is only $10 for hours of wet and wild fun for the kiddos. Come on!

Playmakers - Ongoing performances of Savannah Sipping Society continue this weekend at Playmakers in Grove. Get all the details HERE.

Saturday Markets - So many veggies and treats to be had at the Saturday farmer’s markets. 9 am is the start time for both the Grove Farmer’s Market on the Community Center Lawn and the Saturday Morning Market in Langley next to Reasor’s.

Grand River Dam Paddle - The GRDP is back for its 3rd year on the Grand River below the dam. It doesn’t happen until the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30th), but if you get entered before July 31st, you get an extra raffle ticket - which means more chances to win great stuff. Last year’s raffle had a bunch of great Grand Lake and paddle-related prizes. Anyway, get signed up today for this awesome Grand Lake event HERE.
