This Weekend at Grand Lake - July 31, 2025
Some Customer Appreciation heading into August!

Gooood Morning!
Um, yeah, so… tomorrow morning, we wake up, and it's already August. Nutso!
That’s alright, though. A ton of Grand Lake fun is waiting to be had this month, and then it is the beautiful Fall boating season immediately after that.
Time marches on!
So, there was some pretty big local news that dropped last Thursday after I’d sent out this email…
Caleb and Tonya Goldner, as 5G Marine, LLC, announced their acquisition of Grand Lake Boat Sales & Hi-Lift Marina.
It’s always big news when one of the bigger entities on the lake switches hands, and it is always good news when it stays local - so this covers both of those bases.
These folks are heavily involved in lake businesses - Goldner Dock Construction and Cigarette Midwest (How about that Cigarette Run last weekend!?) - and this promises to be a great thing for everyone.
You can read the release, which includes some ideas about their future plans - HERE.
And you can even stop by and say Hey on Saturday at their Customer Appreciation party. More on that below.
Speaking of below, read on to find what you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!
🌟 Featured Sponsor: Grand Lake Boat Sales & Hi-Lift Marina Customer Appreciation Day🌟
Saturday from Noon to 3, it is a Customer Appreciation Day Celebration at Hi-Lift Marina!
They are throwing a thank-you celebration for all of their amazing customers, and it’s going to be one for the books.
Live music by Whiskey Poet Society, cold drinks, hotdogs/hamburgers, and lake life at its best.
Come hang out, raft out, chill out, kick back, and enjoy some Grand Lake Livin’!

This Weekend at Grand Lake
Lake Level - As of 8 am, the lake level is 744’ with no gates open and minimal ongoing generation. They are right on the dot for the target elevation! Lake temps are in the 80s. Summertime Perfect! You can always check the lake level yourself HERE.
Food Truck Friday in GROVE - And, Ridgerunner Rlley! That’s right, it is almost football season, so this month’s Food Truck Friday in Grove (Friday from 5 to 9 at the Community Center in Downtown) is also a Ridgerunner Rally where all football teams from the Grove area, from little league through high school, are invited to set up booths and and do a little fundraising for their program, all while showing that Ridgerunner Pride. Sounds like a great community get-together!
Food Truck Friday in KETCHUM - Grab your lawn chairs, BYOB, and come enjoy your favorite foods from Bradford’s BBQ, Billy’s Burger Barn, and Cregan’s Confections & Ice Cream at the Ketchum Eats Food Park on Friday evening. There will even be some live music from 7 to 9 pm from the amazing Max Goen. Come on!
First Friday Wine - The First Friday Wine Share in Grove finds its way to Grand Lake Sailing Club this Friday at 6 pm. Just bring your favorite bottle, a glass, and maybe an appetizer to share, and enjoy friends both new and old. All are welcome!
Marina Del Rey Auction - This beautiful, new resort development on the South end will be sold at auction this Saturday, August 2nd, at 1 pm, at the resort. I think I saw where 18 parcels are being auctioned, plus the commercial location in Ketchum will be auctioned at the same time. All of the details on the properties and how to find out even more can be found HERE.
Lawn-A-Thon - The Anchor Lawn at Shangri-La is the place to take the kids Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm for a fun-filled day of inflatable water-park style fun. A wrist band is only $10 for hours of wet and wild fun for the kiddos. Come on!
Playmakers - It is the last weekend of performances of Savannah Sipping Society at Playmakers in Grove. Catch the show tonight, Friday night, or Sunday afternoon. After that… you’ve missed it. Don’t miss i! Get all the details HERE.
Saturday Markets - So many veggies and treats to be had at the Saturday farmer’s markets. 9 am is the start time for both the Grove Farmer’s Market on the Community Center Lawn and the Saturday Morning Market in Langley next to Reasor’s.
Grand River Dam Paddle - The GRDP is back for its 3rd year on the Grand River below the dam. It doesn’t happen until the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend (Aug 30th), but if you get entered before July 31st (that’s TODAY!), you get an extra raffle ticket - which means more chances to win great stuff. Last year’s raffle had a bunch of great Grand Lake and paddle-related prizes. Anyway, get signed up today for this awesome Grand Lake event HERE.
Library - A new month means a new calendar at the always busy Grove Public Library. See the Calendar of Events HERE.
