This Weekend at Grand Lake - June 19, 2025

Rocking the Dock in the SUNSHINE!

Good Morning!

Hey Hey - You see that?

Be careful… you might get SUN burned. Or it might be a little too BRIGHT for you.

That’s right, good people, it looks like we’ve finally turned the water off for a while and are going to smoothly transition into a good ol’ fashioned Grand Lake summertime — complete with sun-shiney days, warm nights and early mornings, and the perfect conditions for making those Grand Lake memories.

Now, yes, the lake is on the full side (752.01’ as of this writing), but sometime on this fine Thursday it should start to go back down.

You just have to, as you always do, keep your head on a swivel when on the lake.

Also, it is tent season, which means it is almost fireworks season.

All of the fireworks shows are raising monies, and the good folks at the Grand Lake Fireworks in Disney are working hard to make their 15th annual show their biggest and best ever - by a longshot!

And what is awesome is they have an anonymous donor ready to kick-in big time once they’ve reached a minimum contribution amount. And they are close.

So if you want to help put them over the top, just head over to GrandLakeFireworks.org where you can donate now.

Alrighty then, it is time to ROCK THE DOCK, Grand Lake style!

Ohhh… and Go Thunder!

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Lake Level - As of 8 am, the lake level is 752.1’ with some gates slightly opened and generation ongoing. There is more coming in than is going out at this point, but that should stabilize in the next day or so. The lake is full, pretty dirty, and lake temps are mostly in the mid 70s.

Food Truck Friday - Roll into the weekend on Friday from 5 to 7 with a parking lot feast and live tunes in Ketchum Eats Food Park. Grab your lawn chairs (and BYOB) while you enjoy the grub from crowd-pleasers including Cregan’s Confections & Ice Cream, Bradford’s Bar-B-Q, & Billy’s Burger Barn, all sound-tracked by country rocker Max Goen. Good eats, great music, zero fuss—see you there!

Rock The Dock - Comeback Tour! - Grab the boat and your best floaties, because Grand Lake’s legendary raft-out concert is back this Saturday, June 21, from noon to 5 p.m. in Check-In Bay (between Ketchum Cove and Duck Creek). Drop anchor, tie up with friends, and jam to live sets from Barrett Lewis and Jake Karlik & The Idols while you soak up the sun. Coolers, good vibes, and dancing on the water encouraged—don’t miss one of the lake’s biggest floating parties of the summer!

High School Fishing - Grand Lake welcomes thousands of student anglers from nearly every state (and a few countries) next week (25th through the 27th) as they vie for a record $3.8 million in scholarships and prizes in the High School Fishing World Finals and National Championship. Boats launch each morning at 5:30 a.m. with free, public weigh-ins at 1:30 p.m.—so swing by Wolf Creek Park and cheer on the teens, and watch the biggest bass-fishing payday in high-school sports unfold right here at Grand.

Market Season - More and more summertime treats are showing up at the farmer’s markets. 9 am is the start time for both the Grove Farmer’s Market on the Community Center Lawn and the Saturday Morning Market in Langley next to Reasor’s.

Library - New month means new things at the Grove Public Library. Check out the June Calendar of Events HERE.
