This Weekend at Grand Lake - June 5, 2025
Big Bass, Mutt Strutting, Fairies and More!

Gooood Morning!
Alright, it is time to get crankin’ with our Grand Lake summertime!
A couple of things up top… first, the GLOC Powerboat Fun Run which had been rescheduled from the Saturday of Memorial Day to this Saturday has been postponed again.
With the lake being a little high, some debris out there, and a continuing chance of rain, they have pushed the event back to either July or August. I’ll keep you updated on that.
Second, I saw some pictures on Facebook (so you know it is true!) of the groundbreaking in Grove for the new Civic Center at Wolf Creek Park.
Awesome!
I don’t know much about it (the specs, etc), but hopefully they are doing it right and it will be the perfect size for what is needed in Grove.
Wolf Creek Park is a great location, with so many opportunities for big things with the combined indoor and vast outdoor spaces.
Anyway, thought I’d share that with you.
This weekend is the Big Bass Bash (more on that below) so there will be hundreds and hundreds of bass boats buzzing around the lake.
So, as always, keep your head on a swivel.
Oh, and it is free fishing weekend in Oklahoma.
But enough from me… here is what you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!
