This Weekend at Grand Lake - May 29, 2025

June is going to be LIT!

Gooood Morning!

With that early Memorial Day weekend, we’ve still got another weekend in May going on here. Weird.

It is going to be a pretty quiet weekend, although the summer fun has kicked in and all of your favorite places are open and ready for you.

But, June… wholly smokes. It continues to be the busiest month on the lake. At least, it feels like it. On land and on Grand, there is a BUNCH going on.

Make sure to keep an eye out for these Thursday newsletters with all the details of the coming weekend’s events, and you can always check out the Events page of the website as well to plan your Grand Lake livin’.

One more thing → I’ve been asked a few times about people wanting to again support this little newsletter by buying me a coffee.

I took those out of the emails last year, but, since you asked, lol.

So, down below, you’ll find a link where you can “buy me a coffee” (or coffees!) to show your appreciation for me putting these emails together.

There is NO obligation to do so. I’m NOT keeping score. But I appreciate it.

Let’s get to it… Here is what you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Lake Level - As of 8 am, the lake level is 745.6’ with no gates open and ongoing generation. Lake temps are mostly in the low 70s.

Sip & Shop - Join in tonight (Thursday!) from 4–8 PM at White Buffalo Lodge for a fun-filled evening of shopping, snacking, sipping, and exploring! Your $10 ticket includes a local bite board, access to top-notch vendors, live music by Keyven Dunn, miniature ponies, hiking trails, and more. Wine will be available for purchase, and the vendor lineup is stacked with local favorites. Check out the Event page on FB HERE.

Fundraisers - A couple of popular annual fundraisers are happening this weekend, although I think they are both sold out. Friday night is the annual Grove Rotary Shrimp Fest (formerly Lobster Fest) happening at Shangri-La Resort. Saturday night is the annual NAPA Nites fundraiser in support of the South Grand Lake Regional Airport in Ketchum. If you’ve already got your tickets… good on you!

Paddle Cutting - Chill Waters Paddle Company is celebrating with a Chamber Ribbon Cutting tomorrow (Friday!) at 11 am at the new Honey Creek Public Access at the old Honey Creek Resort location. The best part? They’ll be set up all morning with boards for you to try and get on the water. Check out their website for all of the different ways they can get you to be ‘paddlin’ on Grand!

Market Season - The Grove Farmer’s Market on the Community Center Lawn happens Saturday at 9 am, and the Saturday Morning Market in Langley next to Reasor’s is at 9 am as well.

Library - New month means new things at the Grove Public Library. Check out the May Calendar of Events HERE.

☕️ Want To Buy Me a Coffee?

Enjoying the newsletter? There's absolutely no obligation, but if you'd like to support the work that goes into it, buying me a coffee is a great way to do that.

Every cup helps keep the updates coming — and the caffeine flowing. Thanks for being here!
