This Weekend at Grand Lake - November 21, 2024

Good Morning!

It’s a bright, sunshiny Thursday morning out there, but a little on the chilly side.

But it is, after all, only a week until Thanksgiving, so there is supposed to be a bit of a chill in the air.

It’s a pretty quiet weekend around the lake, but it is shopping season.

There is a new group in the South Grand Lake area called Grand Lake Buzz on Facebook that is a group of local small business owners who are working together to bring attention to the great shops and local businesses around South Grand Lake.

And don’t forget about the big Shop Grand Lake Holiday Shopping Experience happening from now through December 6th. Spend $25 at participating businesses around Grove and Monkey Island and get entered to win some cold hard cash.

Alrighty then… here is what else you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!

Lake Level - As of 9 am, the Grand Lake level is 743.34’ with ongoing generation. Surface temps are moving into the low 60s.

Decorating Contest - The Town of Ketchum is having a holiday decorating contest for both residences and businesses. Sign up at City Hall by 2 pm on December 2nd to be entered. The judging will take place on December 12th… and cash prizes will be won!

Santa’s Ozark Mountain Village - This favorite annual tradition in Grove continues this year at Har-Ber Village Museum. The village will be open at 5:30 pm on November 29th and 30th, Plus December 6th, 7th, 13th, 20th, and 21st. Don’t miss it!

Library Happenings - There is always something happening at the Grove Public Library. Check out the November Calendar of Events HERE.

• The Road Hog Family & Friends Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner is Monday at 6 pm. Bring a side or a dessert and enjoy the fun.

• There is NO Trivia Tuesday at The Anchor next week. It will return on Dec 3rd.

• Singo at Pickles in Langley happens every Wednesday evening.

• The Downtown Grove Ice Rink opens next Friday, Nov 29th
