This Weekend at Grand Lake - Oct 2, 2025

A Festive First Weekend of October ahead!

Gooood Morning!

What a great run of weather, huh?

This weekend looks like more of the same, but I’ve got to tell you… last weekend, on the water…

10 am, both Saturday and Sunday, wakeboarding for miles in the middle of the lake. No wind, long stretches with no boat wakes, and the bright Oklahoma sunshine - it was outstanding! Like a powder morning, but on the lake. (IYKYK)

So, I’m giving away the sauce there, but if you like to ride that wakeboard or rock on that slalom ski, now is the time.

I’ve not gotten into the whole ‘surfing’ scene just a few feet behind the boat, but it seems like a smooth lake doesn’t matter as much to those/you guys.

But for those of you who like long rides and connecting turns… don’t miss it!

And with that, we are on to a busy first weekend of October at the lake. Here is what you need to know!
