Gooood Morning!

It’s another beautiful morning out there. I gotta tell you, there is just something about the warm Fall season weather at the lake that feels good.

It is another busy weekend out there, with big shopping deals to be had all over Grove and one of the lake’s biggest and best customer appreciation parties happening at the South end.

And plenty of great stuff in between.

No dilly dallying today, let’s get to it: Here is what you need to know for this weekend at Grand Lake!

This Weekend at Grand Lake

Lake Level - As of 9 am, the lake level is 742.8’ with no gates open and intermittent generation. Lake temps are holding strong in the mid-70s. Maybe lower 70s depending on where you are…

Open House - The annual Grove Merchant’s Fall Open House is this weekend. Happening Friday and Saturday, you’ll find great deals all over town. Get out, do a little shopping, and support the local businesses!

Appreciate - The annual Cedar Port Customer Appreciation Party will have a new look and new location this year. Pretty much everybody on the lake has been to Cedar Port, so this party is pretty much open to everyone, although I think they wanted you to RSVP. I think my clicking “Going” on Facebook qualifies. Anyway, this year it is happening at 6 pm this Saturday at Sharky’s at Hammerhead Marina and includes pizza, wings, desserts, drinks, and live music by Robbie VanVekoven & The Smokin’ Section. See you there!

Saturday Markets - The season has come to an end for the Saturday Market in Langley… BUT, the Grove Farmer’s Market rolls on for a few more weeks. Go get the goods Saturday morning starting at 8 am!

Wheelin’ - It looks like it is going to be a great weekend for wheelin’ in Disney, but heads up that this weekend’s scheduled Wheelin for the Wounded event has been canceled. But don’t let that stop you… come to Disney and hit the rocks anyway!

Maze - The Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch at McCorkle Family Farms opens for the season this Saturday. They will be open Saturdays and Sundays through the Fall, and get ready for their big Fall Harvest Festival happening NEXT weekend.

Readers at Noon - The Playmakers’ Readers at Noon continues on Sept. 24th with Nancy Flowers and Stan Starts in a witty comedy where loss meets laughter and even grief has a punch line. Enjoy lunch and the show for $20, or attend the performance only for $10—learn more here.
