Lake Level - As of 9 am, the Grand Lake level is 742.67’ with minimal generation. Surface water temps are still right around 80 degrees and the lake is ‘Grand Lake’ clear.

Football After Hours - You’re invited to Football After Hours tonight (Thursday!) from 5 to 6:30 at Grand River Abstract (2100 S Main St) in Grove. Join the fun and relaxed evening of networking, mingling, and enjoying some delicious catered food from Mulligans. Feel free to come dressed in your best football attire or rep your favorite team! Whether you’re here to meet new people, grow your network, or just enjoy some great company, this is the perfect chance to do it all.

Pioneer Days - Pioneer Days is happening at Har-Ber Village Museum in Grove this weekend. This annual event promises a rich blend of education, hands-on activities, and historical demonstrations that bring the pioneer era to life. More info HERE.

Dam Cancer Walk - Join the walk on Saturday morning at 8:30 for "Dam Cancer! Let's Walk for Lori!" as we come together to support Lori Mosler before she heads to MD Anderson for cancer treatment. Meet at the GRDA to walk the dam and wear pink to show your solidarity. Shuttle services will be available after the walk.

Vetstival - Happening Saturday from 10 to 4 at the Grove Community Center. This event offers a one-stop location for veterans to access essential services such as VA health care enrollment, ID cards, toxic exposure screening, disability claims, and more. Heartland Classic/Keels & Wheels - Keels & Wheels, brought to you by Heartland Classics Boat Club & Cherokee Yacht Club, is the ultimate event for classic boat and car enthusiasts. This annual gathering brings together a stunning collection of vintage boats as part of the Heartland Classic Boats Mahogany and Chrome Classic Boat Show and cool cars, showcasing beauty and craftsmanship. The Keels and Wheels event is open to the public and takes place on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm at Cherokee Yacht Club on Duck Creek.

Appreciate - The annual Cedar Port Customer Appreciation Party is Saturday at 6 at Cedar Port. You should have already RSVPd if you are going, but I don’t see Jerry running anybody off if you just show up. RV Resort Party - Join the fun at the Monkey Island RV Resort Community Gathering on Saturday from 7 to 9:30 PM! Veterans Honor Plaza - On Sunday at 1 pm at The Veterans Honor Plaza in Langley there will be the unveiling of 2 new memorials: one for Gold Star Mothers and Families whose loved ones died defending our country, and the second for Blue Star Mothers and Families whose loved ones serve or have served in our Armed Forces protecting the freedoms we enjoy. Everyone is welcome!

  • Hearing a rumor that Blind Swine is taking over the old Public House location in Grove. It will be called Speedy’s Chophouse. Stay tuned…
